Alternator/generator Plug Wires

there is a plastic plug that snaps into the alternator, mine has cracked and the wires leading into it are frail, i took the female terminals out of the connector and spliced new wire in. there is terminal s and l coming out of alternator. now my problem, i have brown with a green stripe(brg) wire and brown with a black stripe (brb)wire ,does anyone know which wire goes to witch terminal s top l bottom? and can i buy a new plug and wire leads so i wont have to go thru this terminal issue?
i cant seam to find the correct wires in the wiring diagram,
any help would be greatly appreciated !
