Alright, why is it sounding like this?

Recently I just had a transmission installed that I got from a board member along with a clutch and new flywheel. It drives okay, 2nd is a little hard to get into, but that's not what bothers me. It's waaaay louder than my old transmission. It's like a raspy noise that happens only when it's in gear. What's that all about? I was told it was a low mileage transmission but I just want to know what that noise is all about.

Throw out bearing? They usually make noise when they go bad. Cheap to replace, but you have to drop the trans to get to it i think.

Same throwout bearing from before, it was still good so it was reused. Unless it went bad because of the swap, I don't think it'd be that? The noise only happens in 1st-3rd, in 4th and 5th it's virtually not there at all. It's loud enough in 1st and 2nd that I might actually be able to get it on video.

Edited to add that I just drove to a friend's apartment and it's definitely loud in all gears. It's pretty quiet whenever I'm coasting but much louder whenever I'm on the gas. God, this sucks, labor on swapping it out costs too much to have to do this again.
