Thats it? It's usually 4-5 grand just for painting it. Will they do the door sills?

1200 barely covered front and rear bumpers for me.

Your going to get what you pay for. Are you sure that quote is to paint the whole car and not just blend certain areas?

If the body shop is going to drill into any part of the car, RRUUUUUNNNN!! Find a shop that has a gun that welds on a stud and uses a slap hammer to pull the dents. I hope the shop that gave you the $1200 quote does'nt go by the name of MAACO.

A $1200 paint job won't be a quality job. Maybe not taking care of this car is genetic

Do it right, when you paint starts to flake off and you have to spend 4000 for a real paint job you will be kicking yourself in the ***.

I just was quoted today for a new paint job, right at 4k. I have seen their work in my shop many times and eye fucked the **** out of it all.....they do quality work and it shows.

I also will get a lifetime warranty on the paint job for any peeling, color changing, etc.

You get what you pay for, and I know what i will be getting and 4k is a steal of a price if you ask me.

Where in Vegas did you take the car? I had 1 dent in the fender awhile back that cost me $1,400. Paint is one thing you don't want to skimp on.

sounds like they're just gonna cover paint for the dent and faded areas. if they don't cover the whole car (which usually cost 3k+) .. have to watch out for colors not matching from old paint and new paint areas
