Are all stock R1 rear spoilers like this?

I got a really great deal on a used R1 spoiler, but there was a catch. One of inner (4) screws is broken off. It is one of the front ones, so it can not be slid out of the metal bracket things(because there arent any). Am I out of luck or is there a way I can get a new one in there?

The other thing is, the screws are not symmetrical. The spoiler came with the padding already attached, and the inner front screws do not seem right.. Look at this crappy diagram I drew up:

Anyone know?
TIA

Chris

The holes are not symmetrical due to the rear wiper mount on the touring models. Here is a link to the templete: http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/spoiler_install.html

You can get the mounting parts from your Mazda dealer

I think each part is $2.50 - 3.50 each. Here are some of the part numbers:
Bracket, Spoiler R FD03-51-965
L FD03-51-966
Gasket, Spoiler R FD03-51-9G8A L FD03-51-9G9A
Clip, Spoiler R/L B459-51-958

It is really common for the inner studs to break out of the spoiler. If you have the old studs and they are in good condition use some two part epoxy to reattach them.

If you buy new studs you can still use the two part epoxy to attach them to the spoiler since the original mounting features will be broken.

All of the parts are located on pgs 110-111 of the parts fiche here: http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/p..._body_93_2.pdf

It's hard to read online so it's better to print out the pages you want...
