where do I begin when it comes to checking Alarm issues? I believe I have a short somewhere because my dome light stays dimly lit even when the doors are closed unless i click the light on the 'off' position as opposed to leaving it on when the doors are open.
I don't really know where to start and before I start stripping those panels off and driving myself crazy I wanted to know where I should check?

 

Body Electrical Troubleshooting Manual (in stickies) has diagnostic procedures for the alarm.

CPU #2 contains it and often behaves badly if your battery is low.
