Question Airpump removal Boost problems...Please help!

I just removed the airpump on my car and now i get much lower boost on 2cd turbo.I plugged the lines that were connected to the air pump, but its like the turbo isn't prespooling. At transition boost drops to like 5psi then slowly climbs to about 8 or 9psi.Do i need to remove the avc and use a blockoff plate? Or would this make any difference?Or do you have any other suggestions on what to check?I tried the search but really couldn't figure out if this is my problem. Check sig for mods. Any help would be very much appreiciated.
thanxs Brent

you might have bumped off or reversed the BOV and ABV valve lines.. .or any other lines in that area.... what all did you remove, to do this mod, i did mine about 6 months ago and have had no problems, it is impossible for a air pump removal to hinder secondary boost.... do you have your cat still????? if so better be gettin rid of it...

I still have the main cat but not for long,I know the airpump itself doesnt control boost but what does the AVC do? BTW i didn't touch the BOV ,not really sure what the ABV is but i didn't remove anything else. My car ran very strong before but now i also notice less vacuum. any help?

No the UIM has never been removed,As far as noise i noticed @ secondary transition a low rattle or growl for a split sec but i dont know if its supposed to sound like that or what.I also just installed an intake so my bov and crv vent to atmosphere. i know what the bov sounds like but not sure what the other noise is.
