Airbag light flashing

Hello, I have searched all over and I have yet to find an exact solution. I have taken out the steering wheel and the clock spring and put in the Efini steering wheel. a red and white wire were cut that went to the clock spring but that was it. No the airbag light keeps flashiing 6 times then repeats. How do I solve this problem?

Going to assume you have a 93 (no dash airbag). You can unplug the airbug ecu or take out the light bulb, since you don't have airbag anymore.

Yes, I do have a 93. So when you say unplug the airbag ecu. Do you mean the black box under the driver side dash on the transmission side? I looked at it earlier today. There are two plugs, unplug them both?

I wasn't sure at the time if I should.
