I just had my air conditioning serviced. The system is sealed and working fine. The only problem is when the air conditioning is on and i'm at a stop light with the car in gear. If i take my foot off the clutch and put the car in nuetral at the stop lights every thing is fine, but when i keep the clutch down, with the car in gear, it begins to idol rough. Does any one have any idea whats causing this to happen. Remeber it only happens when the car is in gear and the clutch is pressed in.

 

There is a clutch switch that tells the ECU if the clutch is engaged and affects idle. Check it out.

 

2 of them also have someone look under your hood when you have the clutch down and it in gear to see if the compressor is cycling on and off.
