Air Care Issues
Ok guys i need to get this car past air care, i keep failing both Hydro Carbons and Carbon Monoxide levels. The Carbon Monixde levels are through the roof. I think the Catalytic Converter is headed south probably and probably is much of the cause of my issues. My only solution unless you guys have any others, is to through in the Alchohol into the gas tank, can someone tell me the proper procedure and what type alchohol i need and where i can purchase it from?

Besides, I think MAZDA recommends no more than 10% ethanol blend. I'm not positive on the why, but the fuel system probably isn't set-up for it. I believe ethanol is an oxdizer, so seals, gaskets, injectors etc. probably would not tolerate it in concentrations above that for very long.

If your looking for a Hi-flo CAT I have one I used fro about 500 miles. It's a Bonez and will sell it for $400 shipped.
Let me know. I am about to list it in the Parts section.
