I have a Fluidyne radiator, and the stock airbox. I had no issues when putting the airbox back in. It sounds like you have not installed your radiator properly. Difficult to diagnose exactly what is wrong without seeing what you have done. Most likely, you have just not positioned the radiator as low as it should be.

Is it in both holes on the bottom? Make sure the rubber plugs are in position. My fluidyne went right in perfect. good luck

musclecarconvent.... I feel your pain. I experienced the same problem when I installed my Fluidyne radiator. At first I thought I did something wrong but everything is back in the same spot as the OEM rad. At this time, I am still using the stock air box although I have modified it to fit for the time being. I removed the inlet duct "elbow" to allow for a temp. fix. The bottom of the air box is sort of resting on top of the upper rad hose. If you modify your box like I did be extra careful not to pinch/compress the radiator hose. The next step for me is to buy an after market intake system.... unless you can come up with a more reliable fix, I would recommed buying a new intake system too. I am looking at the HKS RS.... a bit steep but looks good as ****.

also, after this mod, I had no problem closing the hood. I think Fluidyne welded the upper rad hose connection an inch higher than typ.
