FWIW, the silver DEI silicone paint/sealant (good to 1500 F.) works great on the heatshields. I just used a sanding pad, rinsed with some reducer to clean and sprayed. That was two years ago and it's stuck really well. Maybe dulled just a little, but doesn't seem to discolor at all.

Thanks for that info Jim. I will have to try that... Last engine, I used the high temp ceramic paint but it was red.. I would like to go flat black this time around..

I believe BNR might start offering polished compressor housings for a fee. Mine is the first one on the new stage 3. Good thing, I'm only 20 mins from his shop. He also now etches his housing so you could tell they are BNRs.. I'll try to get some pics of that also.
