Aftermarket SMIC with stock airbox?

Is there an aftermarket SMIC that would work with the stock airbox?

Thanks, Jason

The only ones of any consequence are the Greddy and the (discontinued) Blitz.

The Greddy intercooler will fit, but is pretty tight. The Blitz is a nice improvement over stock, and fits easily, but does not have the capacity of the Greddy. I think Mazdaspeed made a replacement intercooler, but it may not be any larger than stock.

I have the Blitz, and have been very happy with it. Installation was not difficult. You retain the stock ducting, and the stock elbow with the Blitz. Finding a used one in the parts section should not be too difficult.

My ARC I/C fit right in. I even used the stock duct (with a little sealing tape).

The M2/ASP medium and similar sized I/C's will work well if you use (or make) the correct pipes/ductwork and the battery is reduced in size or relocated.
