the sakebomb is over 1000, so you'd still be saving $ doing it yourself.

You guys crack me up.

The Sakebomb kit comes with all the proper components, fittings, lines and brackets to make for a *much* easier install.

two points:

(1) R&D isn't free.

(2) Depends on how much your time is worth. I'd gladly pay a company 25% (in this case $200) to save myself many hours of custom fabrication. If your time is only worth $20 an hour to you, then have at it

This isn't an option for alot of people. Even if a friend can build one for me I'd probably pay the extra just to have someone to blame and get support from if something goes wrong. If you think about what you are getting for the extra bit of money you would realize that you are getting ALOT. Sometimes it is very short sighted to look at only how much money you are saving.

The Sakebomb kit is the only one I'm looking at.
I've been trying to save up for this piece for awhile now. But alas, life keeps getting in my way.
However, things are starting to look up finally and I'll probably be able to order this kit for sometime in March or April.
I wish I could get it now, however Xmas has wiped me out, once again.

I built my own kit for a little over 600. It'll be up in the build thread soon, unfortunately the coolers themselves are on back order until the 23rd.

I looked into doing 1 big single oil cooler, gotta cater to the bumper though. Mazda wants 2 up there

This site lists out the dimensions http://www.lpiracing.com/Setrab-Stan...lers-c1071.htm
They have 2 that are 10", and they are 34 row.

and here is the full spec sheet from setrab: http://www.jagg.com/pdf/ProLine_STD_Dims_112610.pdf

Upgraded oil cooler is definitely something I've been missing, anything for peace of mind around the red line is fantastic in my books. I remember reading somewhere a while ago that running larger/greater number of oil coolers can cause a dangerous drop in oil pressure at these higher RPMs though.

Has anyone experienced this?

I apologize for not specifying, I'm using Earls 19row oil coolers, as well as an Earls oil thermostat.
