Has anyone had good success with aftermarket stock replacement ignition coils? Like the "AIRTEX / WELLS Part # 5C1211" or "STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # UF149" for the leading coil. For the price, almost willing to try it.

I haven't used them in an FD, but I've had customers use some coils from those brands in an RX-8 and they seemed to fail prematurely. I only use oem coils or IGN-1A.
