Exclamation aftermarket gauge install question? please?help

ive had my fd for a while now and have been wanting to replace all the factory gauges in the cluster with aftermarket gauges but how would i retain the factory check engine light, bright indicator, seatbelt light, ect and the other information lights that are on the lower left and right sides of the cluster assy any info would be much appreciated

First off, if a handful of simple 12v warning lights and how to hook that up is stumping you, this is not the project for you.

It's a HUGE project to try and replace the stock gauges. I wouldn't recommend it. If your gauge cluster has problems, get a good used one. You'll be time and money ahead.

And I agree with Dale, if your only concern is how to wire up simple warning lights perhaps you should not attempt this project.

+1 on the other responses.

Very good choice at replacing all stock gauges....

As far as the project goes, the only elements in the cluster that will be effected are the ones you replace. You will have to test what connectors power the idiot lights vs the OEM guages. Either way, Speedhut gauges are thin, and have their own harness.

got it figured out replacing stock gauges thanks for the help but automatically assuming someone simple relax just needed input the speedhut link was great i know a lot of people knock autometer but if they produce the right sizes Im going to use their elight series with progressive shift light in their tach and multiple color options post pics when its done
