advance auto parts warrenty on NGK ??
I went to Advance auto parts today to try to swap my BUR9EQP's and the guy told me the plugs arn't covered under warrenty if they fouled. Does anyone know the specs of this warrenty? I want to get tons of free sets of plugs like some people on the forums do as well... does anyone know for sure? thanks guys

fart on a friends head!!!
you gotta be kidding me!!! if you bought a crate motor and abused it the way you surely did to foul those spark plugs do you think they would warranty it? no. . . even rotary engine builders say no to situations like that. a spark plug WILL foul. thats considered normal wear for a spark plug. if it fouls. . . its not the plugs fault its the engines fault and therefore (indirectly) a user error.
i dont know who told you that the warranty worked like that, but its a ridiculous mistake.
i, personally, have used the spark plug warranty for a set of iridium plugs. reason??? the tip broke off while gapping. what did i learn??? just leave the gap the way it is. . . its not worth the effort.

I was just talking to my brother in law about this today!!
Anyone out there have any experience with this? I replace mine yearly, and although technically it may be bending the rules a bit, by the end of a year, they need to be changed. If they are warrantied for 2 years, they should replace them!
Anybody?
