I've been driving my Rx7 as a daily driver ever since I bought the car earlier in the year. Considering that I commute up to 2 hours in bumper to bumper traffic Mon-Fri, I decided to get a new daily driver, and drive the Rx7 on weekends. Here's my problem, after not driving the Rx7 for a week, the add coolant light goes on everytime I start the car. However, once I drive for a couple of minutes the light disappear. Just this past weekend, as I drove for the first couple of minutes, the temperature gauge rose past the half-way mark. I immediately pulled over and shut the car off. There were no apparant leaks, so I started the car and it was fine again. I nevered had this problem when I drove my "seven" on a daily basis. Have any of you weekend drivers encountered anything like this. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance.

 

have you checked your water levels before you started the car up? seriously

Man this is the first time I have said this, BUT do a search on it, the search button is in the top right corner, there is some good info if you check it..
