Add coolant light comes on
Hey all I was wondering why the light comes on when the engine is cold still and I havent even started it yet. I added a bit of water in the over flow tank but nothing. I light and the buzzer comes on and then ill take the key out and try again in 10 sec. then it goes away.
The engine is also starting very rough, sometimes I just get a click when i turn the key. And when it starts cold the engine shakes a bit. I'm pretty sure its a seal thats bad. Ive check the map sensore and all the spark plug wires, plus I just changed the plugs out not to long agao. But have the same magnacore wires in.

First thing, don't add water/coolant to the overflow tank as that's not where the sensor is located. The low coolant sensor is located in the thermostat housing so you need to fill it there (when the car is cool of course):

Check the level there before you start the car. It the level is not near the top, add some water/coolant mix.
I would have the cooling system pressure tested for leaks (which will also reveal if you have a coolant o-ring failure). Also check your coolant caps to make sure they can hold pressure.
