Add coolant Buzzer????

Hey guys/gals
I recently got into my FD and when I turned it on my add coolant light went on and then the buzzer. The thing is about 2 days before that I had a full coolant flush and new coolant put in!! Why would this happen?? It has only happened that one day and never again.. It has been like 2 weeks and no issues.Any suggestions??

Could be bad connection. Check the wire going from the coolant sensor.
Could be low coolant also.

haha a week or two after I bought my car the same hting happened to me - I freaked out and just started filling it with coolant, I thought that the overflow hole was a leak lol.

Anyway I dont know what happened but it was just a fluke because I had full coolant but after driving for like 45 seconds it went off on its own, never came on again ... sometimes I swear its like the car has a mind of its own

If you had the cooling system flushed and filled, there will be air that gets trapped in the system. It takes some time to burp all the air out of the system, and the air bubbles up to the top of the system, which is where the Add Coolant sensor is.

Top off the coolant, check the level in the overflow tank, and enjoy.

Yikes, the "add engine " light went off.... Sounds like its not your motor just some air , but thats not a good light to see go off.

After a radiator flush I have the same problem. When the engine is cool burp the air by squeezing the radiator hose with the coolant cap off. It also helps to take the TB coolant line off when refilling to reduce trapped air.

i had the same thing and then my coolant seals blew. not being a guru myself, i assume the seals were leaking/going bad and then finally went on me.

however, if you just had the system flushed it is more likely what the others are telling.
