ACT street clutch too weak?????

I just installed an ACT stage 1.1 street organic clutch and pressure plate kit with a new throwout bearing and pilot bearing. My stock clutch had only 20,000 miles on it but it would slip badly when it heated up under boost. I know I should have went with a stronger metallic clutch but ACT claims that their clutch holds a lot more torque and heat and I like the drivability a lot. I do not plan on exceeding 300 whp. I have intake, exhaust, and basic bolt ons and will never exceed 10 psi for safety because of my stock I/C and ECU. The clutch is still seating and feels exactly the same as the stock but now I realize it looks identical to the stock clutch. I hope it will hold up well what do you guys think? Any experience with a stage 1 clutch? It is very important to me to get the best acceleration possible out of my "BPU" setup, hopefully 12s. I need to raise my boost as I am running 7 psi right now and high 13s. Thanks.

update

As the clutch is seating with miles it is grabbing harder and harder. Definitely stronger than stock

I think the disk is a stock disk, or very similar to stock. The difference is probably the pressure plate. I suspect that the pedal pressure is a little more than before.

It's typical for the HDOO to be called a S/S but it has a stock disc. The S/S is actually the HDSS with the performance disc. (You can also choose a medium disc HDMM).

Unless it's puck-style (which yours isn't), it'll LOOK the same. The difference is in the material. My HDSS grabs a LOT harder than stock. The pressure plate helps a lot too.

I run the ACT clutch with no problems, I race and drift with it. I have yet to have any excessive slip issues but I seem to have chatter every once in awhile which is common with upgraded ACT clutches.

I just received the street/strip ACT with flywheel from Ray at SR Motorsports and it looks identical to the stock picture!!!!! WTF?

Did I get ripped or do they infact look identical.

Actually, I beleive the OEM disc is more expensive but softer. On the side of the box it will say either HD-OO (OEM soft disc), HD-MM (med modified) or HD-SS (street strip). HD-OO is what they list on their website and that's prolly why all the stores order it but I have their catalog. ...sorry for the scare, bro. Isn't there an ACT rep on the forum?
