If that is the extreme flywheel that motor is gonna rev pretty good. Can't wait to my motor break in period is over so I can rev over 3500rpms. So how come you had to order it from Japan? You should of been able to order it locally. The Rx7store probably has it in stock. Must of cost you an arm and a leg just for the shipping..!!

I got it for 1300 out the door, but I have other connections...
It seems expensive, but it also includes the cromemoly flywheel, holds 700+ft/lbs of tq, and is streetable/slipable.
Total overkill for now, but not in the future...

It doesnt rev as quick as a 9.5lb but its still much quicker than stock. Plus if you wanna drag race its better to have the 12.5, just make sure you break it in good and not get too crazy right away The clutch pedal will be alot stiffer too.

Cool sounds good. I really didn't want to spend $910 but from what Ive heard i think it'll be well worth the money :-)

I do a drag once in while thats why i decided to get the 12.5 pound flywheel. But I just got my engine rebuilt and my new clutch and flywheel so I'll be babying the FD for a long 1,200 miles ROAD TRIP!!! lol but I got all the wanting to race out of my system. I just love to cruise in the FD :-)

Put in the same clutch last year and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't track the car though. If you weren't in a hurry, I'd recommend a new clutch fork. Some info during my search suggested the OEM ones often fail with the new PP and I didn't want to risk having to pull the tranny all over again.

Got my car back today, awesome clutch! I had to drive through stop and go traffic, and I only stalled it once. 1 degree stiffer than stock to me. Slight slipable engagement makes it freaking awesome. Now to remove as much driveline slop as I can.

If you mean by taking it easy on it for now, yes. But I'm not putting down near as much power that the guys who need this clutch are, so I can almost drive it as I normaly do and not hurt it.

the only disadvantage i noticed was when coming to a stop, it'd die sometimes because the rpms drop so quickly. as far as driveability goes, it was just fine. takes a little getting used to from a stop though.

for those interested, i won't know for sure if i can get rid of it until next week. i may keep it and put it in my next FD
