I have the spec stage 2 and I hate it. Me and my buddy bought our spec stage 2 together and installed it together with the same rotary mechanic. Both are clutches were completely different and both sucked. My friends fried up after 6K miles of street driving for some reason. Mine is holding fine but makes so much noise (engaging, clucking noises) ppl think I have a broken tranny. Mine also is not forgiving at all when it comes to engaging (I have a lightweight flywheel also). Also, my friends was relatively stiff and mine is just completely soft.

Go with act. Its stiffer but is more reliable and smooth.

A lot of people have ACT and Ive never heard anything negative about them, Exedy is also a good choice.

The Spec stage 2+ is ok. I dont really like the non "+" clutch setup as they dont hold up very well. The plus version has the higher clamping pressure plate.

Agreed. Do a search, but everything I've read has been favorable as long as your streeting a sub-400 whp car.
I've had mine now for ~ 6 years (40k miles) with no complaints. Some autoX events but mostly street driving. Typical bolt-on mods...maybe 300 whp.
