I havent seen the MAXX EXTREME pressure plate but I run the EXTREME pressure plate with my upgraded street disk.

http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/zx3-xt00.htm

This so far has worked out great. No slippage or any noticable wear for about a year and 20 thousand miles.

you might wanna check out a gym and do a few leg presses before you buy the MAXX Extreme plate.

j/k. I don't know for sure, but it sounds like it'd be a monster on your clutch leg.

That is a clutch that I have been looking at getting... What kind of power numers are you running? You still tt? non-seq?

Another good option if you need more torque capacity than the XT plate is of coarse the exedy twin plate.. Which is my other option I am just not sure if I am really gonna need it. Planning on going single with the A-SPec 500r but only pushing 1bar..

I dont know what my torque output is yet , but if you read my sig you'll see that it could be a bit ! I want an affordable , streetable clutch that can hold some power .I have an OS Giken twin disc clutch on now but it keeps slipping and is too expensive to service constantly , if I decide to , this would be the third time I'm servicing it !

if you get your setup running at full tilt you will shred any single disc that is remotely comfortable to drive. i don't know what the cause of your giken problems may be, but i do know you need an exedy twin sprung cerametallic.

i would not trust carbon as it's coefficient of friction varies from .31 to .48 depending on the heat in the disc. the cerametallic is .49 at any heat. i put 10,000 miles on my exedy hyper single and the disc wear was .02. (from 4.6 mm to 4.58). relatively easy pedal. the twin actually has a softer pedal as it makes up for clamp w 2X frictional surface. BTW, the exedy ceramaetallic is patented and unlike other similarly names materials.

Sounds like you and I both are gonna need to go with the exedy twin plate.... Well, at least I will have a good clutch but that price tag sucks.....
