The AC unit in front of the rad. can I run W/O

OK I put in new FMIC and radiator, but I screwed up and the AC unit ( not the lines the actual radiator looking thing ) that sits in between the rad. and the FMIC. Anyways I have to get it welded to use it again, my question is can I drive my car W/O it hooked up so I can take it somewhere to get welded. I dont care about not having AC I never use it anyways. So can I drive my car?

Thanks

your referring to the condenser...
u can drive your car without it but would suggest to cap the open lines temporarily...
assuming that you vented to atmosphere when you initially removed the condenser (illegal for environmental reasons) youll need to refill it....

you can drive with it off indefinitely....till u get your condenser reinstalled and filled...if youve contemplated on complete removal due to rare use...it has its advantages..weight reduction although not substantial..more volume of air flow in the area.....maybe not with the FMIC...use of the ac switch as a fan mod..
