ac condensor brackets
Does anyone know if the the condensor is held on by loose brackets. What i mean by loose is that it is not welded to the condensor. I went to the dealership to order the two lower brackets and they said the bracket are welded to the condensor. I don't want to buy the whole condensor. If anyone has these are know where i can get them please pm me. Thanks!!

I just changed mine. There are screws holding the brackets to the condensor, but there are at least two different model condensors, so maybe yours does not? Mine is the post last 93 model.

My 94 AC condensor does indeed have brackets welded onto it. Look at yours. You will be able to determine if the loose bracket was welded on. If so, the cheapest repair (but heavy labor) will involve welding the bracket back together. I don't think you can access it in place.
Unfortunately, this means AC coolant removal/vaccuum, AC condenser removal, take it to a radiator shop (they usually have someone who can weld aluminum), reinstall condenser and recharge AC system.
