So this seems to happen ever so often. When the AC is on, sometimes I start getting a white mist/fog/smoke coming out if my vents. What's going on here?
Are you running it with the blower speed on very low but the temp all the way down? In my jeep is does the same if it's running for a while in that configuration. My guess is the condenser or whatever is icing up. If you run the fans at a higher speed it shouldn't do it. Not sure if anything is "wrong" or not, but that's my observations.
I used to notice this phenomena in my TII.
The best term I've seen to describe it is "flash condensation". The air coming out of the vents is cold enough to condense the moisture in the air immediately in front of the vents. If you look closely, you'll probably see that the fog isn't coming out of the vents, but rather it is forming maybe 1/2" in front of the vents.

Yep. Agree with JM1FD; you're making fog. It's a sign of a healthy ac unit.
This will often occur when the evaporator gets at or below freezing and there is substantial humidity (the FD has an evaporator thermoswitch to prevent it from freezing solid, which will obstruct airflow).

Ok, I'd just hate to think I'm inhaling something from the ac system it's self. I'm using Es-134
So, I drove home and noticed the smoke is definitely coming out of the vents. After I turn off the ac it still kind of creeps out of the vents. Also this time I saw the light in the AC button flicker a little bit for a short distance.
