NJ ABS deleted, now my brake lights don't work

hey

so i deleted my abs system and i just noticed today that when u hit the brake pedal, the lights dont come on.... what the hell ? am i missing something? i checked the fuse, is there something that needs to be grounded or given power in the ABS clips to make them function?

thanks in advance everyone

hmm i had no issue with that.. but i also took out the abs sensors and abs computer.... is the brake light the only one that doesnt work or does the tail lights still illuminate brighter when the brake is depressed?

Check to make sure your brake switch is still hooked up and functioning. It sits up at the top of the brake pedal.

Verify there is continuity from your brake light switch to your tail lamp bulbs. it's page z-64 in the wiring diagram

The brake light switch wire runs to the PCM, ABS, and to the tail lights themselves. My guess is you cut the wire that triggers your brake lights when you removed the ABS
