About Sillicone hose job

Hey there, I'm currently redoing my vacuum system. I got the rats nest out and everything and im redoing the hoses one by one. And i was wondering if I should use the Tie-Wraps? I'm using all the 3.5mm I can, it feels pretty tight and secure, but should I use the tie-wraps or not?

It's up to you. Good silicone on clean nipples may grip well enough to go without tie wraps. I used Viton, and it gripped like hell and I needed no tie wraps. As an in-between, consider only tie-wrapping the lines from the UIM to the check valves, and the lines leading off the front turbo inlet pipe. These lines can see pressure which tends to make them pop off.

If you expect to get under the UIM ever again, maybe leaving them off will be better.

Tie wrapping an already tight 3.5mm hose might make it easier to break a solenoid nipple if you anticipate ever needing to take that hose off. Then again, that only happened to me and I probably could have been more careful.
