about to rebuild engine need advice

i am about to have my engine rebuilt. i am wondering what else can i replace besides the seals in the engine that would make the engine stronger and more powerful. also what seals should i use(2mm or 3mm) if i am aiming toward 400 whp. i am looking to spend up to 5 grand on the rebuild so any advice would help.
Thanks

400hp? off of the engine? just put in a 4-rotor.

oooooooookay, if you want lotta hp for dtreet use, go w/ the 3mm seals and street port the sucker. Bigger ports than that should stay on the race track.

STREETPORT!

i went with ceramic seals...detonated during tuning...the seals saved my motor.

if you trust yer tuning...the consensis is that the stock seals will hold up even under high hp.

some shops go with the hurleys...some go with one pice..others two piece...

ya gotta search on this one

Im happy with the 3mm ianettis...1300 bucks for them...but they saved my motor from bad tuning from one of the big name tuning shops (detonation multiple times in a row..pop op pop)...they saved me thousands.

j

if you want to run more than 400 you could dowl pin the motor as well to strengthen it.
