? about negative wire on battery

My rx7 has been giving me a hard time starting (cold start and hot). I have a fairly new battery.and it seems that my negative cable on the battery is bad.It seems to be broken. If i wiggle it or bend it a certian way it starts right up.My question is how difficult is it to replace the whole negative wire. I don't have alot of tools, and i'm not sure how far back the negative battery cable goes.

I think it goes down to the bottom of the housings. If that's the one I'm thiking about then it's fairly easly to replace. Measure it then go to the local parts store.

Add an extra one while you're at it to another place.

Oh yea, is it slow turning over or does it act like a dead battery?

go to your local parts store and find a new terminal, one which has a coupler type of attachment on it (so that you can just strip back the wire and it clamps down on it). you can also put more ground strips. then just cut the current neg battery terminal and replace it.

Good luck
