? about bleeding clutch

a friend told me to bleed my clutch by a pump that you fill with fluid and pump in through the slave cylinder and leave the cap off the clutch fluid reservoir, is this method ok. i was bleeding by having someone pump the pedal hold open slave cylinder and so on and was having trouble getting all air bubbles out. is this what he is talking about http://www.motiveproducts.com/ thank you
