Ability to Order Mazda Japan Parts?

Anyone have a place to order, or even look up Mazda Japan Part Numbers? I am a member of Mazda Motorsports but they only have certain Japan Mazda parts that they deem competition parts, I am looking for more specific items like caliper mounting brackets and other small parts.

He's right

FDnewbie said he could get anything you may ever want... as long as it does exist!

and RHDJapan told me they could get any part from Mazda Japan unless it's discontinued

Mazda dealers in the US should have the ability to obtain Japanese spec Mazda parts in a very short period of time. Very similar to Mazda Motorsports but with more comprehensive offering.

Mazda dealers either won’t or can’t order JDM parts, same result either way. Mazdaspeed Motorsports Development can order just about anything if you know the PN, but that doesn’t mean they will get it. The MMD search site is better at finding JDM parts than you imagine if you are willing to enter partial PN’s and manually sift thru the descriptions. Search by middle two digits -xx- for “systems”, F100, F138, F146 etc for various updates and trim options, forgot the code to get MS parts, but I entered first two and three digits of the first four digit number. Next you order the part which will be listed on Back Order and after some 5 months MMD tells you its not going to happen, but every once in a while the part comes through so you try again. Unfortunately time is not on our side, every day more and more parts are discontinued.

Doubt you're after a front caliper mount bracket....otherwise known as an upright or the standard rear sliding caliper mount - must be a dime a dozen in the classifieds.

The larger rotor OEM rear caliper mount goes by F124-26-281, if that's what you're chasing. See them from time to time 2nd hand on Yahoo jp too.

Sorry that might post was misleading.

I did NOT mean that Mazda dealers in the US had the ability to order JDM spec parts right now.

I meant that they should have the ability to order those parts shortly. MNAO is working on a program that will allow US dealers access to the Japanese spec parts.

Tried to call this number up at Mazda Motor Sports and it said it was invalid. F124-26-281 doesn't seem to be the correct number or you can't get those parts through them?

You might be out of luck locally.....unless Mazdacomp only want to only sell the caliper and mount as a complete unit. From memory they go for just over $Au100 on the auctions, not much saving on the new price looking at it......

may have to save and magnify - anything with "17" next to it, relates to the bigger brake package.

Is there an online place to see the australian parts catalogue? That would be a great way to find the part numbers.

No where that I've ever come across. There are a few superseded, dealer part CDs floating around which give an indication of how far the bloke behind the counter could insert the pineapple if he was having a bad day - usually start at 100% of the Japanese prices listed above and go on to several multiples for slow moving lines.

With the exception of the SP, the local market only progressed one model version over North America anyhow and most of the mechanicals and even most trim items share the same part no even though it hung on for 2 or 3 more years.

If you can locate the exact part number for the items you need we can help provide an estimate on what Mazda Japan charges for the items.

When I had my Skyline I got all my parts from Daryl at JDMSpeedShop. He is now helping me with the stuff for my FD. He can get anything new from any dealer and for dirt cheap prices. His company's name is now tunerlab.jp and he is in Osaka.

F124-26-281 is a valid part #. I can check on availability and pricing tomorrow if you are still interested.
