Dam...sorry to hear about your engine...I know how that feels.....! But like Artguy said...."REMOVE ALL AFTERMARKET PARTS BEFORE HAND. they will come out to inspect the vehicle..." Ya...I made this mistake when I barely got my FD....my turbos weren't boosting right and the "Rotary Specialist" at Alhambra Mazda instructed me that I needed a new engine...and my dumbass had the HKS intake plus the car came with Nitto Drags in the back...so when the appraiser from my extended warranty company showed up...they claimed that I was racing my car and denied my claim!!

So good luck with the engine....Tanabe got a reman about 8months ago and after installing the HKS TwinPower...one rotor went kaplook! I myself have had a reman for about 2 years now...and so far so good...knock on wood!

Depending on your Warranty Company....a lot of them would just approve a reman because it's cheaper!!
