i imagine the spool up time with a v mount is less than a front mount bc its less distance for the air to travel. Has anyone ran both and noticed a significant difference?

Darkness, you're in McLean? My God...where do you guys hide?! lol. I'm in Vienna, and my boy lives in McLean. I know I've never seen you, and neither has he!

Ha, small world. LOL. I live inside Lewinsville park. It's owned by Fairfax County Park Authority and there's a county house in the rear of the park next to the tennis courts that I live in. I work for the Park Authority so I rent out the house. You should roll by some time.

I'm at his place ALL THE TIME, and I roll up w/ my FD a lot, and still have never seen you! That's crazy...

darkness, I'll def drop by sometime!
Hey Nick, hope ya don't mind the side convo Mr V-mount (I'll have your $$ for you soon btw) Yea...some loser (who I'll leave unnamed, but I know who he is) felt so strongly about my short side convo that he just HAD to give me bad feedback for it. He couldn't even spell correctly in his feedback But yea...funny, I didn't know you could hijack a thread from a friend, esp. when you're talking to his other friend
BTW, I talked to my boy Mike re: what we talked about the other nite, and he's gonna hit you up (more thread hijacking from yours truly )

good choice, good luck! I just noticed ccw is now offering its one peice line in 18 inch sizes. Hopefully they have 18x10 50mm ones. They have great prices for some good looking quaility wheels. BTW car looks great. Mike

Nice job, Nick. Let us know how it comes out after tuning! My baby is almost back from the paint shop, too, ready to get suspension done, v-mount (smaller than yours), etc. Thanks for your contribution toward getting it back on the road (Nick sold me a door, Scoot-type hood and upper rear suspension arm). That hood needed a lot of prep-work: it was not very smooth and I had to make it an inch wider, but it works now. I'll post pics as soon as she's rolling again. Mark
