The original 99 spec bumper is urethane. The one without the plate holder is fiberglass.

my car got hit the 4th of july :-(

i was in a taco bell drive through line and the suv in front of me decided to just backup to get out of teh line and ran right into me while i was stopped behind him...obvisouly his fault.

bad news:
my baby got crushed in the front right, nose, fender, hood, et

good news
will get a new nose, fender, possibly hood, and get some other marks buffed out and fixedup

Bummer your car got hit man, that really sucks. I almost did that to a car in my truck, couldn't really see it back there and it was a dark car so the roof sorta matched the pavement. I stopped anyway and I woulda heard your horn too.

Let me guess, $3K worth of damage? Just a guess, let me know how close I am. That is the price of a fender bender in a FD.

Sorry to hear about your accident damian. Atleast your getting it fixed and it will look as good as new. I was worried too when you said your car got hit. I too thought it was your track car, but i didn't put that and the taco bell part together.

Anyways, about the bumper, i think it would look good if you got a stock bumper and just fixed everything. Your car looks perfect just the way it is. To be honest, the 99 spec front would look awesome too. You know what damian, do whatever you want, cuz in the end, either choice will look perfect.

yep, good guess Jeff on the 3K it was around 2700 and that was the estimate, im sure it will end up 3ish after they dig inside. Good thing they didnt damage the best part of the car, the battery tray :-) (hehehe)
