99 Spec fog Light "look alike"?

With the price of "real" 99 spec foglights, I'm curious to see if I cant find something better for a much cheaper price. I'm hoping to find a 6000k colored HID type foglight to match my 6000k HID's. Ideally it would be uber bright of course too

First, does anyone know what the actual diameter of the 99 fog lights are? Is it 4" or...? Has anyone done anything like what I'm thinking about? Mounting bracket isnt all that important as I can always fab something up to hold these fogs into the position I want them in.

Looking forward to replies

Thanks!

That's the size of the PIAA 510 series lamps (yes, you can remover the grills). I have these installed on my car.

Or you could go with the 610 HID series in the same size:

Now the price difference? The 510s are about $200 (think mine were $250 installed) and the 610 HIDs? About $1,000! Ouch.
