I don't know if its just me but it seems as if the true 99 spec taillight center piece has more of a lip the the older models. Anyone know?

 

no it doesnt' have more lip. it does have a difference in the lights though.. it looks sectioned into 3 shorter streaks vs 1 long in the earlier lights. btw the newer lights started in 1996 model year fd (based on US model yr reference)
