99 spec Bumper reinforcement

Does anyone know if a '92 spec bumper reinforcement can be used with a 99 spec bumper ?

i think it can, but it needs to be cut a bit to make room for the new turn signals. or so ive heard.

yes, it just require's cutting to make the lights fit.. here is a pic, i have the real rebar on my car with the 99 bumper but its not needed...:

just cut the existing hole to this shape..
