99+ OEM tire pressure

I tried in the wheels section but no one seems to have a pic of this.

https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-20/oem-tire-pressure-99-spec-591215/

I'm curious if there are any 99+ owners here that could help me out... with a small pic of the actual tire pressure sticker...

Post this in the European and Australian sections, as they are likely to have far more '99 spec cars to check out.

Take a big, fat piece of chalk and strike a line across each tire on the tred. Take the car for a ride and examine the chalk line. If there is more chalk left in the middle of the tire, pressure is low. If there is more chalk left on the outside, pressure is to high. Tire pressure is dependent on lots of factors including weight of the vehicle, camber, etc... The tag on the car and the tag on the tire are good starting points, but only that, starting points. You are looking for the chalk line to disappear evenly across the tred.

LOL! Chalk test... I think I sense some mocking in that statement... LOL

Thanks guys for looking at the thread. I've posted in the Japan section and hopefully those guys will give me a pic of the actual sticker.
Just for my own curiousity...

For street use, just use the values on the sticker on your car. It should be fine. This isn't any different than anyone who gets aftermarket wheels/tires...

I'd try more like 32 tops.

Found it guys! Special thanks to Andrew for spiritr Rx7 site... You the man!

As you can see, the weights have changed for 2002 models.. They must have changed due to the redesign of the front end. Fronts are 2psi lower than the rears.

I was mainly curious what they use for the 99spec cars. I'll be running 245/40 at the front. Might end up using 31psi..

so they recomend 29 front, 32 rear? is this because of the stagger?

No, because if that was the case the rears would have changed accordingly as well. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fact the front was redesigned. Those new tire pressures were implemented in 99.
I think the front of the car gets slightly lighter now which is why they recommend the 30psi as opposed to the 32psi they had all around.

It's interesting to see little changes like this throughout the model year.
