The is no way the one I have will fit that good, it's molded too big. This isn't new to me it's been on the car for several years. The car has been painted and it doesn't cut it now. The question is can they get a little tighter around the hood. It's one of the last ones they made before they closed shop for a while. In order to get that kind of fitment on mine you would have to cut about a 1/4" out and reshape around the headlights all the way to the finders on both sides. Maybe other batches were better I don't know.

Well I will be ordering the Pettit urethane bumper next week. For $579 it comes with some sort of replica of the 99-spec lip. I will chime in with additional comments when the bumper arrives (haven't seen a lot of discussion of Pettit's bumper -- we'll see how it fits...).

^^ When you get it please take a picture of the inside part of the nose. Im very curious if in fact pettit's bumper was made out of the same mold as re's.

ill take the 99 bumper off your hands if you don't figure it out. get s pettit urethane replica and call it a day. I just sold mine tho, because I like the molded plate holder.
