99' Front spolier.

Ok...quick question. Was surfing around on the rx7 store. Ive decided to make a '99 j-spec look alike. What is the "re-bar"?
"'99 Spec Front Spoiler Assembly (spoiler, lights and re-bar)"

Whoops...just noticed that I put the ' behind the 99. Yes I want a 99 foot front end

The Rebar is the Reinforcement bar that goes behind the front bumper skin. It is a piece of fiberglass that is located behind the front bumper skin and designed to support the front bumper in case of an accident.

Most people remove it when installing a FMIC. You can always modify the stock rebar to fit with the 99 bumper. All that must be done is shaved a little and the turn signal lights enlarged a bit.

the REBAR is the large FIBERGLAS bumper beam behind the urethane cover, it has two cutouts for the marker/signal lights. The m/s lights for the 99+ front are larger hence the need for replacing the reinforcment bar.
