99 front with 95- turn signals?

i just bought the cf sleek lights from raceonusa. i wanted to get the 99 front but the only thing thats stopping me is the turn signals. i looked at a lot of pictures and i feel like its to out there. the head lights is already loud i dont want the turn signals to be just as loud. it makes it look like it has to many lights. i think if the 93-95 signals would look good on the 99 bumper. anyone agree? would anyone or some body you know be willing to make this kit? it would be nice if we can get some kind of gb going.
please dont crucify me for this. im pretty sure a lot of people feel the same way.

Agree to disagree. I think it will take you a year to find 5 other people interested in this.

There are some bumpers that accomplish what youre looking for. One is on the 3rd gen board right now being discussed. Your quest is to find them.

ya im pretty sure the majority of people agree that the 93-98 turn signals only look good on the stock bumper.

I know what you're saying about the front of the car looking too busy with sleek lights, in combination with 99spec turn lights. I actually just went with the banana turn lamps on the stock front end with my sleeks, and I feel it worked well. If you must have the 99front end though, the most I could offer is a point in the direction of a photo showcasing what it would look like, as there was one photoshopped quite some time ago during a similar topic.

Rx-7$4$me is his SN, but just get creative with your key words during a search, and be mindful of the thread topic, and you should find it.

Getting the new turn signals that look like they're from this decade is probably 50-75% of the reason to get the 99 nose in the first place. The 93-95 signals are virtually the only detail of this car that looks dated.

I've seen a pic on here that had that mod done. If I remember correctly it looked out of place.

I know there was somebody who, with alot of fiberglass work, grafted 99 signals onto a 93-95 nose, and it looked OK, but the other way around seems ridiculous...

woo hoo got 1 person who agrees. yea i like the stock bumper with the bananas but i was looking for something just a lil more agressive with a stocker look.
the fps kit was definetly something i was looking for but i wanted to be able to add on a seibon cf lip to go with my feed skirts that im gonna get. my R is silver on black so i think the colors and body lines would match up perfect. what it looks like its coming down to me to buy the 99 front and remold the turns myself.
anyone wanna teach my how to mold urethane?hahaha
if i ever do it ill definetly post pics.

i got my car for a deal but thats another topic. ill post when i can pickup a digi cam.

What about somthing like this. It looks '99 spec with the '93-'95 turn signal lenses? Just put the ones mentioned above in there and it will look sleek.

^^^ Wow if you look close enough, the fitament on that front bumper looks jacked! Not too mention how they adjusted the hood. But anyways, point taken.

^^ Agreed on the jacked up looks... lol but I thought it was a good representation inspite of its fitment.

It's a little bit off around the right fender/headlight/bumper junction, but otherwise it seems fine. The hood isn't "adjusted," it's a common "mod" from back in the day in Japan to jack the hood up a bit from the rear, which will naturally make it dip a bit in the front. It was *supposed* to enhance cooling by allowing air to exit from the larger gap at the rear of the hood...

Not to steal this thread, but related subject. mazdamotorsport lists a new front bumper PN: QFD1-50-030 C R-SPEC FRONT BUMPER 1 RX-7 1993-95 $2,048.70 does anybody know anything about this part. Was there a specal Type R bumper in 01 slightly different than standard post '99 style.
