94 VR peg...worth?

its a 94 peg with new paint, brake pads, factory radiator, 75k miles, tan interior, 5speed. they are asking $15500.

i was thinking $13-14 but i could be wrong. also, did 94's have a longer lifespan then 93's or is there really not that much of a difference?

thanks

I think their price is a bit high for the miles. A car with 75k is going to suffer a coolant o-ring failure soon. That means that you will be rebuilding or replacing the engine very soon if you were to buy that car.

If the interior is in very good shape, the price is about average. Get the car checked out before buying. Where is the car? If in Southern Ca. there are several shops that can do a pre purchase check for you.

stupid amateur question...what does "peg" mean? I was thinking the same...$13-14k. My own personal opinion with the difference between 93 and 94's is that I think the 94's are more refined and they fixed the "mistakes" they might have had/seen on the 93's...just my take on it

Thanks

Jack

seems like a good price to me. just get the engine checked out before you buy it.
