The car in post #38 is it, right? That looks sweet....the pearl is VERY evident.

Does this thread confirm that more than 50% of FD owners are retarded because they thought it was in a museum or in Mazda headquarters?

^ Welll....lump me in that 'retarded' group then...lol! I'd bought in to the whole "it is in Mazda's North American headquarters building" myth.

Silly me, huh?

I was skeptical that the car actually existed.

Does that make me retarded too?

I wonder how it got dumped out on the street?

Could anyone get financing for a 15 year old car?! Your parents don't count.

Well these days, I think 2002 is the oldest you can get financing for, or maybe 2004. There is one place that did financing of older cars but site eludes me . Its on the forums somewhere.

My credit union will do up to 10 years old but only if the car has less than 100k miles.

Capitol One used to give loans on older cars but apparently do not any longer.

capital one blank check financed my fd, they didn't even ask the year, just the amount I needed and whether is was a private sale or dealer sale as it changes the interest rate.

They don't do these loans any more (and, not coincidentally I'd guess, lost $1.4 billion last quarter).

sooo... did you keep the deposit or give it back? I mean you have a total right to keep it, that's what it's for.

I don't believe a word in this thread! The unicorn never existed to the public! We all know the truth... It's still in Mazda's Corporate storage warehouse.

Can’t disclosure or don’t want to. If we hold back on prices paid then we are all in dark as to relative values. Did you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
