You can't buy the '93 pieces new anymore either..only the '94. As for the carbon fiber, the adhesive-backed overlays just don't cover everything. Even the ones that claim to do so. However, there's a guy on the forum who does a more permanent covering...you actually have to send you pieces to him. From what I can tell, that looks fantastic. I'm not 100% sure he still does it.

If you have a 93 you need to get a replacement from a 93. The 94 part won't match at all.

I don't think anyone makes a carbon fiber one. Some people put on carbon fiber overlays, that isn't really good looking IMHO.

Anyone got a set of '94 panels they want to sell?

I'd want everything...console, dash panlels, all the door panels driver and passenger side...anything with the newer plastic.

If you wanted mine in return, they're in fare shape, but aren't perfect; a few places have the peeling problem.

That does look good but it looks painted not polished, I'd immagine if you tried to polish the peeling problem would accelerate immensely !

Didn't say you did I just remarked that it looked Painted, instead of polished.... if you did polish it you might want to share the details so that a relative "Noob" like me can't call you on you **** !

im looking for a new center console panel (the part that goes around the shifter/ash tray) and i was told to find a 94 one as a replacement....or a carbon fiber one

anyone care to help me figure this out?
Just strip the focker down and repaint it. You will save lots of $$ and it will come out better than new.

jdhuegel1 where did you get that paint. It looks awesome. Also, did you paint over the 93 plastic pieces or the 94 plastic pieces. I'm in the process of doing my 93 plastic interior so any help would be great. Thanks.

I got the paint at www.eastwoodco.com.

Search for SEM.

I used the Texture coating (Can't seem to find it anymore on the site but it is available in lots of auto paint stores), and Trim Paint Satin Black Aerosol item no: 10023 Z.

I painted over both 93 and 94 pieces. With a little playing, you can get the 93 stuff to look like 94. I painted over the 94 stuff so the luster would match.

Is SEM the name of the paint manufacter? Can I get this paint at a auto parts store or do I have to go to auto paint store? Thanks.

SEM is the name of the company that makes the paint...

You can get it SOME places... But your best bet is an auto paint/body place. Here's what it looks like.

Do you have to prime the plastic before you apply the texture coating? Does the texture coating come in a aresol can or do you have to apply it with a roller? Thanks.

The texture comes in aerosol. Just like the pic above... They all come in pretty much the same can. All I did to prep was a light sand and cleaning with plastic-prep (SEM product as well)
