94 Fsm

I just scanned the entire 94 FSM. The quality is better than the ones currently on web. But the better part will come tomorrow when I scan the 94 wiring diagram in COLOR! Well the next challenge is where to host/send this info. Ya'll let me know what ya'll want me to do. Also when the info goes up let me know if any of the pages need more attention and I'll try to get the pages better.

I have the 94 Body Electrical manual, but it's a glue-bound spined book and would be extremely difficult to scan the couple hundred of pages. I'll take it to work this week and see if I can get it scanned. I would need a host for the pdfs though.

A Few hours of your time will help lots of us out... I have to go page by page with the wiring diagram...OK now we just need someone with Section "U" ...Also if someone needs me to do this for them just let me know-- I 'll take good care of the manual and send it right back to you!

Cool

The Body Electric Manual contains Sections:

Y: Gound Points
W: Electrical Wiring Schematic
Z: Fuse/Relay/CPU/Switches
C: Instrument Cluster/Warning System
D: Wipers/Washers
E: Exterior Lighting
F: signal lighting/horn
G: Heater and A/C
I: Rear Defroster/Interior Lighting
J: Alarm
K: Power windows/locks
L: power outside mirrors
M: sliding sunroof
Q: cruise control
S: air bags
X: common connectors
JB: joint box

You'll notice that section "U" is covered by section G in the 94 body electric manual. I'll try to get some of it scanned at work this week.

Any of the parties in this thread would gladly host this material, or pass it to someone that could:

Well thats a way to move that much, but what about a place to host them. We need someone who will accept these files and post them on their site.

P.S. I'm half way done with the wiring diagram!

I've got an offer to host it, we can also see if Steve Cirian will host it on www.fd3s.net. I do plan on getting a website soon here and can host it there as well.

As an update, I'm about 1/3 of the way done scanning the manual. Even at reasonable file sizes, the scans are damn near the original in appearance (other than some slightly crooked scans ). I have printed some of the detailed diagrams at 11x17 and there were no scanning/compression artifacts to speak of.

I should be finished early next week with the scanning. I would also be willing to sell CDs of the scanned manual for a nominal fee+shipping.

Hopefully, we can get the manual hosted in a few different locations.

I would love to host this on FD3S.net. I sent Marshall an email, so we should be able to get it up soon.

I just sent you an email Steve. The color scanning is taking a little longer than expected...I should be done with the wiring diagram by Friday evening. The Workshop is done though. So as soon as I hear back from Steve I will start sending!

Stay Tuned...

Just an update, I'm 1/2 done with the scanning. Hopefully I can finish it up by the end of this weekend. It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would because the feed method is resulting in poor scans so I'm scanning page by page here...

Ok, I'm ready to know if the "Body Electrical Section" is done yet. Lets get this stuff up...I'm leaving in the next day or two--vacation San Antonio! Won't be back until next weekend...This damn hurricane is screwing things up also... If I need to mail these then I will. Here's a pic of one of the pages just to give ya'll an idea of what they look like! I know its small--only way to fit it--the file is large because of the color (5MB).
