I bought mine last November and paid $15,000 with a remanufactured motor with 7,000 miles on it the rest was stock. From what I see on this forum, a reman motor installed is in the $3500-$4000 range.

Good luck!

Huh? No the reman motor would be that much. I wouldn't pay much more than $10,000 for one with a blown motor.

LOL

I spent about 6 months looking for an FD in the trim I wanted, and I found it with only 39k back in 98.

I didn't even give a **** about the price tag when I found it :p Too me, the car is still worth its original price tag, even though I know I'll never get that for it. It looks like a $30k+ car, it handles like a $30k+ car, and it feels like a $30k+ car.

You might be able to get one for 9k, but you still won't have the money to fix it. If you are paying cash you could get a loan on the car to fix it.

I bought my 93 touring with 85K two years ago for $12000. We now have 99700 miles on the ticker.

Was it salvage title. I've seen those down here in San Diego for $9k.
They put it back together.
