93 rx7 buying info

I am new to this forum, I was told this is the place to go for information on rotory's.

I am looking at buying a 93 rx7 however this car is modified and according to the owner the apex seal is "gone again" and he does not want to spend any more money on it.

He said is was not tuned properly thats why the seal went. Does that sound correct?

How much approx to re and re a motor and tune properly?

How much should I offer him for the car?

If there is anything else I need to know before buying a rotory, I would appreciate any information given.

Thanks for your time

Nicryd

Try this info:

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/

There is a lot of good stuff here. If that doesn't do it, then ask questions.

alot more information such as mileage, pictures, list of modifications, etc. would get you better results but i am with DaveW on this, read the newbie sticky info before you do anything. make sure you know what you are getting into and PLEASE don't start a thread without searching for all the old ones that have already asked the same question you are about to ask.

good luck with your hunt/purchase and thank you for typing coherently

if the guy wouldn't get it tuned properly, there's no telling what else he was too lazy to take care of. just my $.02
