93 roller ?

I may possibly pick up a 3rd gen roller in a week or so. Everything is there in the engine bay except for the engine. the guy told me all i would need is an engine with all the accessory stuff. It has a Haltech ecu in it. Would I be better of to get a jdm engine or a usdm one. I tried to search but couldn't come up with anything. My goal is to have around 450hp. Sorry if this is in the wrong section. tried to post in the newbie section but it didn't go through. All help will be much appreciated.

The JDM blocks are a gamble especially if you dont get it from a reliable source. If you have $2900.00 extra bucks laying around you could buy one of my prebuilt blocks, with almost all new seals, o-rings, springs, etc and get an engine with a warranty so if something does go wrong you are covered.

Every Jspec block is different, some are good deals and others arent. I have torn down 2 "good" Jspec blocks that had blown apex seals

I would buy a fresh rebuilt block of DJ or one of the outher great builders on here, Buy a known blown engine complete for cheep, And put the bits on your rebuilt block. That way you will be very happy.

Buy a decent long block with the accessories you need and have it taken apart, inspected, and rebuilt by one the reputable shops on here. I wouldn't install a used motor as is.
