93/94/95 factory blow-off valves?

93/94/95 factory blow-off valves?
Hi Guys is there any difference between years of factory blow-off valves?
A Friend of mine has lent me his 93 one and the model no: is slightly different compared to my 94. The Vaccum nipple on mine got accidently broken off.
He also has a replaced his with the Greddy type S. And has the spring tension set on really hard. Will this affect anything. Where is the correct setting on this Blow-off valve as well.
I find allot of aftermarket BOV's to have a adjustable spring setting. How do you know when it is set right?
